MY LOVE LIVES ON
I've stood on the other side
And watched the world's ebb and tide
As life went out and back again
My eyes grew wide in amazement
Standing on the nearest shore
I cried dear God: I must see more
He took me up where I could see
My life really wasn't all about me
I came back down to find myself
Suspended again between heaven and hell
As life went on before my eyes
I grew old, and grey, and eventually died
Standing on the furthest shore
I dance for joy and cry no more
My life on earth has come and gone
But in Christ my Lord my love lives on
